Life Cycle of a Pumpkin: contains 3 pages of full-color pumpkin life cycle photos - 9 photos in all, 2 pages of pocket chart labels, 3 pages of reproducible life cycle wheels, a 1 page reproducible sequencing worksheet, and a 4 page activity to create a 3D model of a pumpkin life cycle, including a test prep-type reading comprehension passage (the final part of this activity, "Pumpkin Life Cycle Worksheet and 3D Model Activity", is also available as a separate product in my TpT store.)
Measure a Pumpkin and How are They Related?: a printable recording sheet for students to complete when measuring various properties of a pumpkin including height, weight, and circumference; a 1 page printable instructional sheet to teach the math concept of correlations, a reproducible worksheet for students to complete to determine the possible correlations between pumpkin properties, and detailed teacher directions.
Answer keys are provided for those activities requiring one. These activities can be used as center activities, special day activities, or as a complete pumpkin theme. They work well as an introduction or follow-up to a trip to a pumpkin patch or farm, or as activities in the days before Halloween or Thanksgiving. by Rebecca Bettis.
