Nice graphics, easy to read font, detailed sentences for students to sequence. I used the large ones for a pocket chart to retell in our comprehension center and selected just 10 of the cards for students to individually order and glue.

Yvonne, I am glad this is free, because now that I see you did not do these based off of a book that I can't buy or get from the library, I can't use them. I don't have one book that talks about a fairy once he gets to the top of the beanstalk.

Hi Stacy. There were several different versions of Jack and the Beanstalk in our media center but this particular version was a Rigby reader. We used it in reading groups as a book set. Thanks!

Hi there! We read several versions of Jack and the Beanstalk. This is pretty much the traditional version but I had to reduce it a bit (I didn't have Jack go back up the beanstalk a 2nd time for the harp). I was amazed at how different all the books could be. This is a simplified version in which an old woman sells Jack the beans and not an old man. We used leveled readers (I believe they were by Rigby) in groups to base this on. Hope this helps.
