I wanted to spice up my traditional plant unit so I created this unit focused on Jack & the Beanstalk. This unit will incorporate plants and literature into all parts of your unit!
Included:
-cover page
-fairy tale poster
-story versions
-graphic organizers
-writing paper
-beginning, middle, end writing
-comprehension questions
-book review (2)
-making words (beanstalk) station
-scrambled sentences station
-greater than/less than station
-missing number fact family station
This is a great companion to a unit on plants. I am going to use it to discuss story elements (characters, setting, and sequence of events) during our plant unit.

This is a great packet with wonderful activities. I like how you had different books to go with the unit and any one would work!

I love the idea of teaching this when teaching about plants. The thinking maps are great. I hardly ever use the multi flow map. I hardly wait to make one with my first graders. This is an awesome unit. I can use every part with my class. Thanks for great teaching ideas!
