Here is a math journal for January that includes addition and subtraction, more than and less than, shapes, patterns and more. This booklet can be put together and be used as a full group, small group, or independent activity. All activities support a Janaury theme. The booklet would also work as a homework math extension.
My students love the math journals. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I do so love these math jounals. I cannot use all of the pages because there are "other" things to do but we are learning a lot about problem solving. Does it have a rubric by chance?

Using these math journals in class now. Great practice for the kids.
I love these~~ I hope that you will continue making them for future months as well~~ My kiddos are loving them and it gives such a great opportunity for drawing pictures to help solve problems.
I would love it if there were also lines added at the bottom of the pages. I have my students write a number sentence (if applicable) and I have them write an answer to the question being asked as a complete sentence. Lines would make it easier for them to know where to put their sentences. I will add my own lines for January!!
