The Jar-o-Fun features 105 activity squares filled with connection games and activities. These can be used as ice breakers, motivational, connection or reward activities. I have a large jar on my desk labeled "Jar-o-Fun" that has these activities cut up in squares in the jar. Each week my students have jobs (see classroom jobs) in my room. One of these jobs is to select a daily/weekly activity. Most of these activities last between 5-10 minutes. Though covering content is vital, those connections with students help build a classroom community that cares.
