Sorting jelly beans, tallying jelly beans, and graphing jelly beans! Great Spring time fun! It's hard to find specific jelly bean colors, so I provided with colors and without so you can write in the colors you were able to find! Also a parent letter to get them donated!

I used your ideas yesterday with my first grade students. They loved it and learned a lot. The donating letters was useful. I had 5 bags donated, so each students had lots of jelly beans to sort, tally, graph and make patterns with! Thanks

I have taught for 9 years. Most has been in low-income areas and with second language learners. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and technology. Kinder is where my heart is! I have also taught at the National I Teach Kindergarten conference in Las Vegas! I would say that was the highlight of my career, but how can you surpass teaching kids to read? =)
