AnswerQuest is an easy-to-use, versatile, and just-plain-fun version of the popular TV show Jeopardy. Set up in a PowerPoint file, using hyperlinks, the game matrix allows you to fill in your categories, questions, and answers, then project the game onto a wall or screen. Simply follow the included instructions (Microsoft Word file) and you can play the game as a review tool in any discipline, with any level of student. The game play is simple. Once an answer is correctly questioned, one click of the mouse returns the display to the game board. Single, double, and final rounds are included in the matrix. Fonts and sizes can easily be adjusted as space and personal preference dictate. The teacher can save any number of game boards and re-use them as often as he or she wishes. We've used this one many times and it works extremely well.

Ann: 25 years and counting as a teacher of ESL within a large urban high school; 4 years as a private teacher of adult English Language Learners. Jeff: Five years in the high school classroom, teaching mainstream English courses with a heavy emphasis on writing and Journalism. Now teaching basic reading and writing courses as an adjunct at a community college. He also taught summer school at a high school for four years, the last of them as director of the summer school program. Prior to entering education he spent 25 years in Journalism, starting as a news reporter at the Lowell, MA, Sun and finishing up as Night Sports Editor of the Boston Herald.
