This is a set of labels, illustrations, and name cards for creating a job chart using a nautical theme (pirates, sailing, explorers, etc.) Each class job is given a sailing title, and is accompanied by a description that relates the sailing job with the class job, as well as an illustration to help students remember the duties associated with each job. Illustrations can be easily changed, and duty descriptions can be modified to suit individual classroom needs. To use, glue each job title and description onto poster board. Glue the “Duty Roster” header cards onto decorative paper and mount above the poster. Type or write each student’s name on a name card, then hang a name card next to each job. Rotate names through the jobs according to your classroom procedure.
