These writing topics are formatted for versatility - they can be used several ways!
1. The teacher can print, laminate, cut and store in a "Journal Jar" for students to use at a writing center or desk. (Homeschooling teachers could make one for each child.)
2. If not laminated, students can pick a topic from the jar and then paste it onto their journal page before writing (writing page handout is also included).
3. Pages can also be copied 2-sided and be stapled into a booklet for student reference or individual use.
Second format: They are additionally formatted for older students who can just print them out and store in their binders (no graphics added).
I have used both formats since I developed them back in 1997.
