This unit has 9 months of Journal Writing Activities. I did not put them in calendar form so that they could be used year after year. I have included different kinds of writing activities, including research. Many of each month's activities are related to special events or holidays for that month, except September, which is geared toward getting to know your students.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I taught for 38 years in Elementary Education. I was on the Math Best Practices Team for Minnesota, the Reading Committee, MEEP, the Sci/Math Team, an IGE Team Leader, the computer specialist for our elementary school for 28 years, as well as many other committees and teams throughout my years as a teacher. I retired but continue to substitute in our school for grades K - 12.
