This graph of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar provides an overview of the structure of a Shakespearean tragedy as well as an examination of the key elements or components of Julius Caesar. Included is a glossary of dramatic terms with reference to a number of Shakespeare's tragedies by way of example. Hope that students will gain a better understanding of Julius Caesar and a greater appreciation of Shakespeare's genius in adapting these elements of tragedy to suit his specific dramatic purposes.This package is part of my commentary on Julius Caesar. Tks, Sylcin. What I enjoyed doing was having students make their own graph so that they would remember the various components in the structure of a Shakespearean play and apply them to Julius Caesar. The graph is also intended to encourage students to debate where these components occur in the play. So happy that you find it helpful. Knowing how Shakespeare adapts this structure is also a good preparation for appreciating Shakespeare's other tragedies that students will be studying. The graph is part of my commentary on Julius Caesar, so just to let you know that if you are interested in any of my other products on the play, it would be cheaper for you to buy the commentary since everything is included in it - graphs, crossword puzzles, dramatic terms, the characteristics of a tragic figure, questions and tests, as well as an analysis of the play. I have been a high-school English teacher for over thirty years and continue to teach after my retirement as a supply teacher. While I was a PH. D student at Ottawa University, I taught a few courses to first-year students and a university summer course at the university's campus in Cornwall. I also taught a few summer courses to high school students for the Ottawa Board of Education. I enjoy writing critical commentaries on a wide variety of literary texts as well as teaching grammar and writing techniques. I especially enjoy dissecting works of literature and helping students come to grips with the text.
