I have been trying to come up with the best way to easily keep track of my students progress through the new Common Core Standards. I came up with these charts with the idea that I could keep them on a clip board and be able to quickly mark when I see a student demonstrate a skill. You can mark the chart anyway that you want, but I am thinking about using tallies so I can tell how many times they have been successful. A date might be helpful instead.
Included is a chart for each of the English Language Arts areas: Reading Literature, Reading Informational Text, Writing, Speaking and Listening, and Language. I have tried to get each area on the fewest number of pages possible, just so there is less page flipping. You will get a plain copy of each one in case you arenÃare not able to make color copies, and a colored copy of each one. I thought this would help tell each one apart at a glance.
Clip art by scrappin doodles and fonts by lettering delights. The Common Core Standards are by National Governors Association Center for Best Practices, Council of Chief State School Officers, copyright 2011.
