PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This full lesson plan will help develop the skills for your students with different types of jump roping activities. It's also a lesson that not only introduces and reviews basic jump roping skills but really challenges the students. It's also a lesson that increases cardiovascular endurance because of the constant movements. The following concepts will be covered along with others not mentioned: Given an introductory long rope turning session students will be able to recognize and use basic movement skills and concepts by performing the rope turning with constant rhythm with your partner. Given an introductory jumping session students will be able to recognize and use basic movement skills and concepts by performing solo line jumps on any line on the floor without touching the line.Given a demonstration on the long rope gauntlet students will be able to recognize basic movement skills and concepts by answering check for understanding questions
Given a solo jump rope demonstration students will be able to recognize basic movement skills and concepts by answering check for understanding questions. Given a long rope session students will be able to recognize and use basic movement skills and concepts by completing a long rope gauntlet with build a house and running through the front door elements with no more than two errors per gauntlet attempt. Given a solo short jump rope ( rope to the side not full jump rope) session students will be able to recognize and use basic movement skills and concepts by jumping in timing with the rope according to critical elements. Given a demonstration on “passing third/second grade” students will identify physical activities that promote physical fitness and health by answering a check for understanding questions with 100% accuracy.
