This is a very useful little application that can be imported into Interactive Whiteboard software or used on a PC or Mac.
It is a fun set of dice that allows up to 3 dice to be selected. When they are touched (or click on) that jump to generate the number.
Kids just love using these in all sorts of ways. Other than the obvious use in games, I have had students generate 3 numbers between 1 and 6 by touching the dice. We then discuss which order the numbers could be added to make the adding quicker. For example, if a 6 3 and 4 was generated, students should see that adding the 6 and 4 first (friends of ten) make the addition easier.
