This is a book review perfect to instill independence in your 1st grade (or higher kindergarten students). Students will use the picture clues and sentence stems to help produce a well-written book review that meets the Common Core Writing Standard 1.1. You may wish to have this printable stand-alone or have students use it as a prewriting tool and transfer their book reviews to a different paper of your choosing.
Please see my store and consider purchasing all four book reviews for K-1 at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Book-Reports-for-K-1-Students-Connected-to-CC-Writing-Standard-One or my entire set of printables for addressing Common Core Writing Standards 1-3 for K-1 at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/K-1-Common-Core-Writing-Standards-1-3-A-Printable-Collection .
I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebies. Here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.
Add some clipart to add color or just color some of your font to each resoruce. For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers even if that resource is only one page long. You are competing with over 29,000 sellers so you want your products to stand out. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do? How? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Finally, make sure yor freebies represent the quality of products in your store. If the freebie isn't something a teacher can use or isn't unique or top notch, buyers will just move on to a different store. The primary grades have so-o-o-o many stores that you want to make sure your free item will catch the buyer's eye.
It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas.

Hello Scipi,
Thank you for your note. I appreciate your time and have been to your store in the past, as well as read your comments on the forum. Did you find any particular product that did not have the copyright on each page? I always try to do that, and did not mean to skip any pages or products. If you found one, I'd appreciate knowing which one it is. Also, I have started to work on making nicer cover pages. Unfortunately, I haven't even been able to sell one the one resource I have with a nice cover page. I'm sure it takes patience, and I do thank you for your tips. One more question... you mentioned you saw my page on the TPT homepage, may I learn where that was? Thanks again.
