This is a summer pacing plan that you can implement in any summer school or tutoring program. The theme of this summer program is A-Z. Each day has a specific theme and all activities revolve around the chosen theme. This syllabus includes 24 days' worth of activities. Each day consists of a Language Arts activity, a Math lesson, and an Art or Science project. This syllabus is specifically designed for students in grades K-1. Each lesson was created using the California State Standards.

(4/11) I have been working in education since 2005. I have been a T.A., Paraprofessional, Substitute, and Classroom Teacher. I have worked with affluent families, children with severe special needs, students who are identified as GATE, and many Second Language Learners. I am currently finishing my third year as a second grade teacher in a progressive and exciting charter school. ***UPDATE*** (11/12) In an effort to work more closely with students and families, I have made the difficult decision to transition to Homeschool. I have spent the last year as a Homeschool Supervising Teacher for charter schools in Ventura County. I love working with the wide span of students (K-8) and getting to know their families on such a personal level.
