Want a new, exciting way to practice solving two-step equations?? Try Kaboom!!! This is a game for the whole class. Teams compete against each other to solve two-step equations. You may get lucky and get to double your points, but be careful you could lose all your points!! This game is fast-paced and my students love it!!!
This product includes teachers notes, instructions, cards, and the answer key. All you have to do is copy the cards and play!!! If you like this game, check out my other Kaboom!!! games.
Pros: My students really enjoyed this game. They really tried to figure out the problem-solving process. Their pacing quickened and they weren't afraid to start solving the problems.
Cons: We only found one incorrect answer in the key. When making the double-sided copies, the labels and question cards did not line up.

That would be great if you would just email me a copy! My school email is keffinger@cnusd.k12.ca.us - thank you so much! I am really excited to use it in my math class. It's weird that it did not load the equations...
I emailed you a copy of the game. If you have any problems with it, please let me know.

I don't want to leave feedback until I clarify something with you. Should the equations be provided, because when I downloaded my purchase only the numbers that correlate with the answers were present, not the actual equations. I would have assumed the equations would be provided. Thanks for your response!
Yes, the equations are provided. I just downloaded the game to make sure the document was not corrupted and all equations are there. Can you tell me what type of device and MS Word you are downloading this on? If you would like, please leave me your email address and I will be happy to email you the game. - Sorry for the inconvenience, but I would love for you to have the complete game. The kids really enjoy it. - Carol

Hi Carol, I used the Kaboom 2 step equations and the classes and I had a blast. There are at least 2 corrections to your answer sheet that need to be made. #9 should be -65 and #26 should be 76. We weren't able to complete all the problems due to time, but love the concept of the game. Thank you for a great review tool.
Sorry I did not get back with you sooner; I have been out of town. I checked and I believe you were correct in your first note and the answer to #9 should be -63. I also checked #26 and I believe the correct answer is -9. I have updated the answer key. Sorry for the mistakes and thanks for letting me know.

Just wanted to let you know we had a blast playing. There are two corrections to your answer sheet that need to be made. Problem # 9 the answer should be -63 and problem #26 the answer should be 76. Just wanted you to be aware and update you information. Thank you again! I'm looking forward to playing another Kaboom game with the kids this week.
I have taught grades K - 12 and adult education. I am currently teaching middle school math (grades 6, 7, 8) and have taught this age range for 8 years.
