There are many ways your students can use these cards in the classroom and at home. Each page has 3 task cards. Cut out each task card on cardstock paper and laminate.
*Math Centers- Students can write (with an erasable marker) the numbers that follow to figure out the "star" number. Also, they can work with a partner to say the numbers that come next for those students who are still not ready to write numbers. There is a Recording Sheet for students to write the "star" number to prove understanding. (page 3,4,5)

*Assessment- Assess your students ability to count forward from any number (1-99). Lay down a card and listen as your student counts aloud.

*Home Practice- Place cards that are focus numbers on a metal ring so students can carry them home to practice counting. There is a sheet for parents to sign as students practice and master this skill. (page 6)

Red Cards- 1-30
Blue Cards- 31-60
Green Cards- 61-99
Yellow Cards- Extra Copies

I have 10 total years of teaching experience in grades 1st-4th in North Carolina. I am now a stay at home mom, busy teaching my 4 year old and 2 year old. My experiences as a teacher and mom go into every product I make. I create items that hopefully make a teacher's classroom organized and lessons where their students stay highly engaged.
