A content word wall is essential to every classroom because it supports vocabulary growth, gives students visual clues to make connections with key concepts, provides reference support, and promotes academic achievement in the content areas.
This packet contains over 200 vocabulary cards to help you create the ultimate content word wall in your classroom! Each card contains a visual and definition/example of the vocabulary word. They are aligned to the Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Math Common Core Standards, but I also included additional vocabulary cards that you might teach your kindergarteners {contractions, compound words, money, even & odd, etc}.
Thank you so much for visiting my store! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Can't wait to use this awesome material! Just what I needed!

Awesome! These are great for my districts EDI teaching it has the academic vocabulary word and the bulletproof definition all together. Thanks so much!
I totally LOVE this. It is so appropriate for kindergarten children. It defines what they will be learning in understandable terms. THANK YOU!

I can't wait to hang this up in my room and to have it to use as a resource when introducing new concepts to my students. I have tried to be really diligent in teaching them the correct vocabulary when learning new concepts and these cards will be a great visual support in doing this!

Now I just have to enlist some volunteers to cut all of these out. I can't wait to put them to use and hear my sweeties using the vocabulary!
Amazing..really! Thank you so much for making this and sharing it. I don't have room for a word wall, but plan to put them on a ring and refer to them during whole group and small group instruction. Great product. Exactly what I was looking for.

Is there any way you could send me a list of the words you used in this packet? I would appreciate it so much!!
-Kimberly
I don't think there will be Common Core science and social studies standards posted. I've given up. Don't worry though, there are national science standards in the works. I plan to use the vocab. used in them. For social studies, I'm just going to post the ones I have made for my classroom. So sorry for the inconvenience!!!

Anna, is it possible that you sell a set of pre-made word wall words? I realize the cost would be higher, but it sure would be great to not have to make them myself!
I just noticed that you revised and it says to redownload. I printed everything out a couple of weeks ago. Can I ask what you specifically changed so I can go back and reprint it out? Thank you so much in advance!
I can add a triangle card & you can redownload the revised file under your my purchases page! I will have it ready by tomorrow!!
Thank you,
Anna

Hi there! I recently purchased your common core packet. I absolutely LOVE it! I do have one request. In the math section you have several plane shapes. I did not see the triangle. Would it be possible for you to create a card describing the triangle as having 3 sides?
Thanks so much!
I am looking for just the images you have here, as my school for common core is using a specific wording, but as an ESE/ESOL strategy I am looking for images pre made for a cheap price. I usually do this on my own every summer, however I have a 9 month old, so summer has been me taking care of her to save daycare money.
Hey Andrea,
Thanks for your interest in my CC word wall. Unfortunately, I am unable to send you the images for you to create your own word wall due to copyright laws with the graphics. I hope you understand.
Thanks again,
Anna
