Here come the common core standards! If your district is anything like mine, you are supposed to post standards to accompany your students' displayed work. Here is a cute and easy way to display these standards. The standards are written in kid-friendly "I can..." language with rainbow borders. I have also included a header for Reading, Math, Language, Writing, and Speaking and Listening. You might use these headers on a laminated poster. You can velcro or Blue Tack the standards to the poster. That way, you can easily change the standards as you teach them.

Hi. Love your stuff. I am wondering what size these posters are....they do not look like full size sheets of paper...more like strips, which is what i was really looking for. I was hoping to attach them by a book ring to hang from a hook because I teach k-5 reading and need a set for all grade levels. Also, I see k-3 on your page...do you have 4 and 5 as well, that perhaps I have overlooked? Thanks! Michelle
Hello. Thank you so much for your note. I am editing this response because I got the measurements wrong in my previous answer. The posters are more like 3 inches by 7 inches. Thanks Michelle. Have a great school year.
My name is Karen and I have been teaching for 17 years now(14 of those years have been in first grade). I have 4 beautiful children of my own and a nutty labrador! My life is very busy (but lots of fun, too).
