This unit wasa created for a trimester's amount of work on water. Areas covered include: water tension, pond organisms, man-made influence, flood plains, and more. This is a fun unit that will boost students interest in science. Students will learn techniques that are involved in being a good scientist and boost their critical thinking skills. Enjoy!!

Lot's of great stuff here that I will be able to use or change to suit my class, but I'm not sure how practical some of the lesson are. Some call for going on a field trip to a pond which is not always feesable. I might try using these lessons after a rainy day if there are are large puddles we can chek out. Also, some lessons may be better suited to 1st or 2nd grade. But still overall, great lessons!
