This 102 page Notebook file for the SmartBoard is to help students learn the first 100 sight words. They practice each word by reading it, building it and then writing it. I use this file as a station during Literacy Centers and also during Morning Meeting. It is a great way for students to practice the words on our word wall.

Hi! Thanks for the purchase. This is a Notebook file to use on a SmartBoard. If you do not have Notebook software you will not be able to open it. If you do not have a SmartBoard and purchased this by mistake I would be happy to send you something else if you take a look at my store and email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I want you to have something you can use with your class.:) Hope you are having a great year.
Hi Thanks for asking .. I just looked that question up and it said that the software for your board will open it but it might lose some of its interactivity. Our entire school has SmartBoards so I have never tried it. Hope this helps.
This is a Notebook file for the SmartBoard and can be edited. Robin was asking me if it was OK with me to edit and change the file. I said absolutely. Make it work for you. Thanks for asking. Hope this helps.
Can the sight words in this be changed? As with most of us, I have a list of priority words that I am pressured to focus on. My class is tested on these words and the results are a portion of my evaluation. I am always looking for additional ways to assure I have the words solidly covered. Then I can use the activities to work on all the other words out there!
The Doc file I sell called Learn Sight Words: Read it. Stamp it. Write it is basically the same thing. The students use letter stamps to build the word. Here is the link to that file. See what you think.
Thanks for inquiring. Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. The list is a combination of Dolch and Frye words. Lots overlap because the most common 100 words is pretty much the same. Since I teach I understand that you need to teach specifically from the Dolch list if that is what your school uses for assessments. So all the Dolch words are not included in this file.
