Students should be writing and identifying parts of speech within sentences daily. Language tickets encourage routine of identifying and coding with colored pencils. Students count and tally totals of parts of speech and skills within the sentences. They use colored pencils to identify Common Core skills.
The language tickets included in this packet are ready to cut and use. This packet has multiple copies of the same sentences for easy copying and cutting in addition to single tickets for individual use. Simply give to your students to paste in their language journals. Each set increases in difficulty level based on Common Core skills.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am a 2nd grade teacher from Georgia with 20 years of teaching experience! I've also taught 1st grade, Title (Reading and Math), Reading Recovery, and SIA for instructional support in Kindergarten. I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher with my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I LOVE making teaching and assessment materials!!! I hope you enjoy the items I post here on TPT!
