Dealing with late work is my least favorite task! It doesn't matter what age of students you teach or how wonderful your students behave, there is always a handful of students who suffer from late work-itis! I've tried many different approaches with different ages of students and finally found this combination that works for me.

This looks like a good system, and I plan on adapting it to use in my 4th grade classroom. One issue though is that I have 32 students, and the check-off form only has space for 25. :(

Looking forward to reading through more carefully and using this :) This is probably "operator error" (me) but after I unzipped the file, I had to open each page of the file individually---just a slow process :)

I appreciate the feedback and no it is not operator error. Just like teachers are told to be reflective of our teaching, I do the same thing when I create materials for TPT. There have been several units that I have added lessons to or modified lessons to make them better. It is easier to do this when each assignment or activity is a separate file.

My middle name should be adaptable, at least when it comes to my teaching career. Through the years, my husband's job has moved us from state to state. I've now had the privilege of teaching in three different state. I've taught in schools as small as 300 students and as large as 2,000 students, both public and private school, from a Title I school to schools where funds were readily available.
