This activity will have your students creating wild inventions using Latin and Greek Root words. They will choose up to three to mash together in a fun and creative way to create a "functional" invention with a specific purpose based on their meanings! Very fun and engaging. Students love this activity!
* Also includes a prefix and suffix activity where they add to modify their invention and must write and draw about how it changes their invention based on the meaning.

I have seen some amazing inventions come out of it! We created a booklet out of it with their invention description, title, and picture as if it were going into a catalog to be sold. They had so much fun!
