Your students will enjoy learning about the culture of Africa with my 18 page smartboard lesson.
The file includes a teacher's notes page, interactive pages, links to websites, link to video, and a printable.
Students will learn about the location of Africa, its countries and some of their flags. They will listen to a nation anthem of an African country, learn about African animals and watch a traditional African dance. Finally, they will learn about Kwanzaa through a website story and a video.
A printable is included for students to write about Africa.
Combine pages to create a lesson or use them individually to supplement a unit on Africa. The resources in this .notebook file can be used in a variety of ways!

It really is very interactive for children...However, the link for the animals is no longer in effect...any way to find it and put it in there? My class will love it!

HI! Thanks for the heads up about the link!! I used this lesson in the fall and it worked fine then so I didn't know it stopped working. I replaced the link with a new one. Go to "my purchases" and download again. I really appreciate that you took the time to let me know. Websites are always unpredictable but I LOVE using links in my lessons. When something stops working, I just replace it. :-) I'm glad you like the lesson. My class LOVED this one!! Thanks so much, you are very kind!
