Subtleties in language can be a difficult thing to master. Many students struggle with the wording in directions and multiple choice questions. This book was created for students that need to learn how to follow directions, interpret questions and understand the subtleties of linguistic cues.

Working as a learning specialist for many years, I have discovered that making the learning process fun and entertaining is key. Consequently, this workbook was created for my students and others like them that enjoy learning through games. By using these materials, students will strengthen the following areas of cognition:
Language Skills
Sequential Processing
Spatial Abilities
Memory
Attention
Executive Functioning
Attention to Detail
Visual Processing

Please note that the workbook is printed in black and white.

Hello!
I downloaded your free samples of the following directions activities and I love them! Is the hard copy workbook of intermediate activities the same as the two digital copies of the intermediate activities? Also, how many pages/activities are in them? Do the two digital downloads have all of the different kinds of activities in the free sample; who am I?, maze, and following directions to draw?

Sorry so many questions at once. My students have loved the samples and I know they could benefit from more practice.

Great Questions - The intermediate hard copy workbook is the same as the two intermediate digital downloads. I just cut the publication in half to make it more affordable. As for the activities, What am i and Maze Travel are featured in the Intermediate level. The Beginners features Follow the Directions and Draw and What am I. Also, the digital downloads are in color while the workbook is black and white. Finally, if you are interested in any of the holiday Following Directions Activities, then you get one of each of the three activities. If you want to see them all in one place, you can go to: http://goodsensorylearning.com/Following_Directions.html

Cheers, Erica

Hello again!
Unfortunately, I only see the intermediate workbook as a hardcopy purchase option rather than also as a digital download option. Any and all help is welcome; I think this looks GREAT!

I broke the intermediate workbook into two smaller files to make it more affordable. :) The intermediate workbook is equivalent to Following Directions Intermediate 1 and Following Directions: The Fun and Easy Way - Intermediate 2

I hope this helps.

All the best, Dr. Erica Warren

I noticed in the product description that the workbook is printed in black & white. Sample pages to click on are in color, however. Are both a teacher and student workbook included in the purchase?

The printed workbook is black and white, but if you buy the digital download, it is in color. With the digital download, you have the option of printing it in black and white or in color. It's just one workbook. :)
