This is a role playing exercise in which the participants will play different roles in a legislative committee hearing. One of the jobs of a legislative committee is to evaluate the worth of the different bills that have been assigned to them. One of the ways committees do this is to hold hearings asking interest groups and other members of the public to help them in this evaluation. After receiving various inputs the legislative committee may decide to recommend the bill for consideration by the entire legislative body.
