This is a set of 3 activity sheets to accompany the Phonics Library story "Len and Linda's Picnic" from the Houghton Mifflin reading program. New! Revised in February 2011 to include writing skills as tested on state tests and benchmark tests! These are great activities for independent work during universal access time. The sheets for this story cover the following skills: short and long a sounds, antonyms, personal connections, writing skills, ABC order, syllables, sequencing, high frequency words, nouns and verbs, and characters and setting. In my classroom, the children complete these during independent work time, then we check answers together. They love doing them!
