There are some very common and useful English words that were created directly from the names of famous people in ancient Greece (Ex: hector). This worksheet is meant to be given as a research assignment in class or at home and can easily be done at the library or online. There are eight words in total for students to investigate. This worksheet can also be adapted or extended for further biographical or historical studies.
