This is a full hour long lesson over estimating money prices using grocery store ads. The lesson involves a very detailed powerpoint with notes I've written at the bottom of the slides on what to discuss during those slides. This lesson is based off the the gradual release of responsibility module (I do, We do, You do). The last slide has a link to the printable you will need for the lesson as well. This is such a fun, hands on, real life experience lesson for the students to practice estimating to find the sum. If you have any problems with the link please let me know asap! Thank you for your purchase! ( You will need grocery ads for this lesson - can be found for free at your local grocery stores!)

My second graders haven't been introduced to decimals yet. Would they be able to do parts of this lesson? I wasn't able to see the samples to make out if they could. Is there a way that I can modify the PowerPoint and the ending worksheet for my students?
