This powerpoint covers all of the basic facts about a pond (including pond habitats, classifying pond animals, nonliving parts of a pond, how ponds change in the spring and winter, living parts of a pond, life cycle of a frog, pond food/food chain, and pond survival) in a fun & interesting format for beginning elementary students. It includes vocabulary words and definitions and review questions!

*The powerpoint is VERY long (59 slides) so you may want to break it up for young learners with short attention spans.

Although it could easily be modified for older students, please review the preview file to determine if the lesson is at an appropriate learning level for your particular students needs.
