Biology students love an icky, smelly lab and this one is no exception!
In this lab, students will make their very own mold terrarium. No fancy lab supplies are required. You only need a glass jar, some old foods, and some water. All students have seen foods mold in their homes, but they get so excited to watch the growth and progress of the molds growing in their terrariums. It is fascinating to watch a tiny spot of mold grow into a big hairy monster!
Included in this download:
1) A 2 page handout with directions to the student as to how to set up the terrarium.
