I think closure is an issue for LOTS of us! :-) This was a personal reflection about my own teaching at one point, so I am so glad other teachers are able to take something from it too! THANK YOU so much for sharing your thoughts about it! So appreciative and thankful it's helpful to you! :-)

These ideas are GREAT for quick assessments to see who 'gets it' and who will extra focus. Thank you for sharing!!
Excellent ideas! I like that you included "questions I still have" in your recap form, for the students too shy to express ignorance, and to get all the students to really think about what they learned and not just repeat what they heard.

I got an email saying that my question was answered, but I don't see it. Just making sure I'm not missing anything. :) Thanks!
I answered it right below. You'll get an email, but then have to log back in and go to where you asked the question. It won't go to your inbox, but stays WHERE you asked the question. :-)

I LOVE this!!! Thanks for sharing!! Could you send me a picture of the 5 x 7 plastic frames you use for the parking lot? Or give me an idea of where you got them? Thank you for your time!!!
Sure! There is an actual picture IN that packet somewhere. BUT, to further clarify...I got them at the Dollar Tree. AND they are the typical frames that stand vertically, BUT I simply turned them on their side!! I put a parking lot pic facing BOTH the outer sides. Yes, one set of kiddos get the little plastic 'stand' piece on their end, but they have NEVER said a word! :-) They just think they're suppposed to be like that. Does that make sense?? If not email me. :-) Michelle
Thanks for your rich resources! Your free "Recap" Closure Activities downloads fine, but I am unable to save it. I get a prompt asking for the owner password. I have had no problem downloading and saving other resources. Any helpful ideas?
Stephanie,
Let me look into this. Not sure what the problem is. If you can download it to your computer, I'm trying to figure out why you're trying to save it. ? If it's downloaded, you should be able to drag it anywhere you want (files, folders, etc.) It's a .pdf file, so it can't be altered. That's a requirement that comes from the clipart companies to protect their images. However, if it's easier, shoot me an email nomonkeybusinessmichelle@gmail.com and remind me to just EMAIL it to you. We'll see if that will help! :-) I want you to be able to put it where you want it. :-) Michelle
