This lab report form is for use with intensive and strategic learners as they complete an investigation into the placement of the fulcrum on a lever. The leading question at the end is meant to guide students into their own investigation of the various classes of levers.

Mrs. Kaiser has been teaching in the Cumberland County School system for the past 13 years. In that time, she has taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. Six of these years were spent in self-contained 4th grade classrooms. The past four years have been spent in a science/social studies/technology lab classroom for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.
