This WebQuest is designed as a Powerpoint presentation. It can easily be added to your classroom webpage. The WebQuest requires students to conduct Internet research through provided links. Then, as members of Lewis and Clark's expedition, they are to create a journal, maps, timeline, and sketches to return to President Jefferson. Tons of links are provided. Students are assigned roles and templates are provided for each task. Also included is a lesson plan, rubric, video clip, and extension activities.
