PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson, one of many focusing on interactions within our ecosystem, deals with the idea that there are multiple levels of interactions that take place on our planet. Students are reminded that the interaction can occur between biotic and abiotic factors that occur in their environment. This teacher edition lesson plans, walks you step-by-step through the experiment of simulating a life in a baggie through the use of lima beans and pinto beans. A separate student handout experiment sheet is available as a a great addition. The student handout is detailed specifically so that students can complete the experiment on their own in groups.
