Cooperative learning activities are great for building a community in your classroom. They encourage students to trust one another and to work together towards the common goal of learning. They also increase participation and engagement in all of your students.
This packet includes back to school games to be used in the activity called "line 'em up." It describes what the activity is, how to use it, how to manage it and set it up. It also includes 5 games that are GREAT for the beginning of the year!!
These games will help your students get to know one another and set up a great classroom dynamic from the start!
It includes 2 language line ups and 3 math line ups! It also has at least 10 other ideas that you can use with this activity!!
If you enjoy this, please check out my "QUICK! Grab and Teach-- 8 teaching activities" for more cooperative learning ideas!!

This is my 9th year teaching and I still love every day. I have taught kindergarten, a combined third/fourth grade class, and currently teach first grade.
