These cards can be used with any balanced literacy program. Your students can use these cards to schedule their literacy center activities. This packet includes directions on how to use these cards in your classroom, schedule cards for a reading center (independent/buddy), listening center, writing center, working with words, technology center, and free choice. It also includes two different student choice charts, to be used when selecting literacy center activities.
I use these schedule cards in my classroom each day. My students love scheduling their activities and they stay motivated to learn! These cards keep my students organized as they take ownership in their reading and writing development.
