Help your students write about what they are reading with the Literature Circles: Write-Around Prompts and Template.
Page 1 includes directions to the teacher that explain how the Write-Around works. Students respond to a prompt and then rotate their paper in their team. Students read what the student before them wrote, and then they respond in writing to it, like a conversation on paper. Page 2 includes a total of 20 prompts spread out among three categories (all texts, fiction texts, and non-fiction texts). Page 3 includes the Write-Around Template that students use on which to respond to the prompt given.
