This is the first thing I purchased on TPT that I am not that impressed with. For one thing, the directions were not changed from the previous story. One refers to Little Panda and we are unable to edit. The directions and the letter shown on the page where students should search for words that begin with the letter __ does not match. If for sale, more time should be taken to make sure directions are correct.

You are so kind. I love that you like the materials. I literally took that Pearson teacher's manual and tried to rip it apart so that kinder teachers could have the Staples Easy Button. My life was challenging enough in kinder (those are babies). So, I didn't have a lot of time to organize centers and be creative as I'd like. I said "never again" and whalaa, I made the kits.

This is a great resource, it practices all the skills we're covering the unit and works with everything else I have nicely. A lot of the activities are things I can continue to use even after the week we do the unit which is great.

Becky...THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT!!! I wanted kits like this last year when I taught kindergarten and couldn't find anything. So, I spent days and weekends at school planning/preparing for the upcoming week. I just knew I needed an easier year (and other kinder teachers too)...Who knew how much energy and effort kinder teachers go through. I'm just glad if I saved you any amount of time, so you could enjoy other things ;)

I'm going on my sixth year as a teacher. I have taught all grade levels (K-5). I certainly feel seasoned :) having taught all those grades. 2011-12 was my first year teaching kindergarten. My frustration level was high not finding enough materials to match the stories. Therefore, I decided to learn to create kits to match the stories in order to help other strugglers teaching out of Scott Foresman's Reading Street for Kindergarten Teachers. I'm new at it, but I'm creative. I do believe I can do all things, including this, through Christ who strengthens me!
