PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Logic problem with manipulatives!

Also available as a Notebook file for SmartBoard.

Get students thinking as they try to solve the puzzle!
(Also available in Spanish)

Use the clues to match up nationalities, personalities and emotions for each of the six girls.

The grid usually used in logic problems can be confusing for some students, so manipulatives are included to "illustrate" each clue as it is solved.

Materials include:
• Manipulative page of illustrations to make the abstract clues more concrete.
• Clue page (to be copied and distributed to students so they can follow along).

Key in the form of a finished grid and also a finished illustration.

Thank you so much for responding to me, adding an answer key, and adding the missing clue. This is an excellent tool for teaching students deductive reasoning. I am working with adults in a country where this type of thinking is new for them. Having the option to use a grid and manipulatives is great.

If the system would let me, I want to adjust my rating to 4 stars in every category (I left some blank the first time) now that the issues are fixed.

Hi, I sent you a message yesterday, but not on this page. So I'm not sure if I did it correctly. Your logic problem with manipulatives is perfect for my situation in Laos, where we really need to work on critical and logical thinking skills. However, I am having a tough time solving it myself. My colleagues are, too. It is as if there is a hint or two missing. Do you have an answer key available?

Hi, Rebecca,

You are right! I have added an additional clue to help simplify the logic problem. I've also included a key. I am having some trouble uploading it to the TPT site, so if you give me your email, I will send you a copy directly.
