My middle schoolers with reading difficulties absolutely loved these puzzles! They had to read and interpret the clues carefully, but the puzzles were basic enough for them to solve when they took their time.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
Most of my teaching experience is with gifted and talented students in grades 2-4, though I have worked with children of all ages in general education classrooms as well. A few years ago I stopped teaching in order to write nonfiction children's books full time. Gradually over the last couple of years, my career has switched from writing to creating teaching materials here on Teacher Pay Teacher. I love creating teaching products (most recently task cards) and feel just as passionate about my work now as I did when I was teaching. I also love knowing that my products help thousands of teachers and reach tens of thousands of students.
