Within the pack there are also lesson plan ideas to accompany each individual lesson. Within some of the lessons there are useful website links which will support your student's learning.
England is on the countdown to the London 2012 Olympics. Being that I live and work in the UK I can't wait to teach this to my own class!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I live in England and work in a primary school. I have been a teacher for 12 years and have had the opportunity to teach in all the different year groups up to age 11. For many years I have taught the age range 5 to 6. I have really enjoyed the creativity that comes with teaching younger children. Their enthusiasm to learn and the progress they make is truly a delight. I never cease to be amazed by what they can achieve! However, more recently I have had the opportunity to work with older children and have found their work ethic to be quite inspiring. Their thirst for knowledge and ability to become so absorbed in a topic is great to be apart of.
