Help kids learn the different spelling patterns for the Long U sound with this fun word game. Simply cut out the word cards and place them in various locations in your classroom or school. Students walk around being "Word Detective Monkeys" and write down the word under the correct vowel combination heading on their student answer sheet. There are 3-4 words for each long vowel combination. Check out my Long A, Long E, Long I and Long O Word Detective Monkeys games as well! I am giving Long U away for free and the rest are .99 a piece!
