This game is best played with 2-6 players. If students draw a card with a cake on it they must correctly read the long a word printed at the bottom of the card. If they draw a card with "Jake ate the Cake" printed on it they lose all of the cake cards they have collected. The students with the most cards left at the end of the game is the winner.

Played the game today. They loved it. I was fun to watch they work harder to decode the words so they could keep the cards. By the end of the game very few children missed any words.
