This is a 19 page booklet you photocopy and staple at the beginning of the year. You have children perform a few beginning of year assessments, then draw a self portrait every month, then perform end of year assessments. At the end of the year, you have a lovely end of year gift for the childrens' families AND a record of progress throughout the year. It is so fun to look back and compare--the children even enjoy doing so! There are also spots to include a picture of the child at the beginning of their kindergarten year and then a spot for a picture of them at the end of the year.

Cute. It is for Kindergarten for sure, even though it says prek, K and 1, it only is printed for kindergarten. If it had writing sample spaces not just name writing and an added cover for first grade it would be good for both.

LOVE this! Hope to use it with my kindergarten AND pre-K classes (if you have a pre-k cover, I would love to get it!). Also this would be an easy one to create a supplement pack for (hint, hint) if you come up with more ideas to add throughout the year. I would definitely buy that too! :)

Cute idea- unfortunately on the age range (maybe placed by TPT?) it lists first grade. I bought it hoping it would work & it really is geared to kg. Cute ideas though!

Thanks for pointing out that error. I will be fixing that. BUT, in the mean time, send me your email address and I can send out a cover (I already made it for you!) that says 1st grade. Any other changes you'd like to see? Obviously, you just wouldn't use the shape assessment, but I think everything else is interchangeable between grades! Thanks again...the only way to improve my store is to get feedback like this. Get me your email address and I'll mail it out to you!
