This one page, four column chart clearly defines and explains direct and indirect characterization then asks students to complte the chart for Ralph, Jack, Piggy, Simon, Roger, and Sam and Eric. The first column asks for physical description(I have them identify page numbers for the descriptions). The second column asks for early traits, and the third for changes.
This is a great tool for character study, and an excellent addition to any Loed of the Flies unit!
