This one-page handout is ready to made into a transparency to introduce your class to Lord of the Flies. It is simple and only introduces the most basic information about the novel (author, year, plot, style, etc.) Expect to use about 15 minutes of class time to give these notes to your students. They will have many questions, though, so perhaps plan on more!
