This is a group of 5 Centers and 2 games.
Bugs to Ten:
Students draw a card, count the dots on the ten frame, figure out how many more they need to make ten. Then record on the response sheet.
Love Bug, Love Bug, Fly Away Home:
Students will roll both cubes. They will write how many lady bugs there are to begin with on the first line. Draw that many dots below the subtraction sentence. Then write how many ladybugs “Flew Away” on second line and “X” that many out. They then will count how many are left and write on remaining line.
Hearty -ug Words
The kiddos will pick a box, write which box number they picked in the heart. Look at the words and write the onset of the word on the line.
Bee-utiful Ending Sounds:
Student will draw a bee, segment the word, and record the ending sound on their response sheet. Then they will color the bee the matching color of their bug they drew.
Students will go around room, finding bugs, and recording them on their response sheet.
Find the Butterfly:
Sight Words Dolch Lists 1-3. Print desired Sight Word Lists. Place the sight words in the pocket chart. Place the butterflys behind 2 flowers.
Bzzz! Number Game 10-20:
You can play this game two different ways.
Old Maid. Students draw cards, when they have a match they pull them out of their hands. Whoever has the Bzzz! card at the end loses.
Splash! Students draw card and read the number. If read correctly they get to keep card. If they pull Bzzz! card, they have to return all cards.
